A Poem In Honor Of Our Graduation

You graduated in 1991
I was born in 1991
Your 3.7 GPA smile said, hey there, little girl
I screamed back saying, I will never take no for an answer
So you held your head high
Accepting the diploma
Trying to blush with pride
While I begged for cookies and juice
With my nonexistent vocabulary.
Sure you graduated, eventually,
Even though it was really hot
In that spring of '91
And your graduation cap
Always stuck to your forehead
Like the flytraps you hung on our ceilings
So nothing would bite the poor baby
Heaven forbid something bite the poor baby
While you focus on your coursework.

I don't graduate until the spring of 2009
You don't die until the spring of 2027
My ceremony won't be punctuated by baby squeals or anything
Though you'll say you like it better that way
But I'll say, stubbornly, that things were different then
And that you were always more interesting than I was
A soft smile will form on your lips
The only words you can think of to say in response
Will be nonsense words and lullabies.Read more info of writing services visit this website https://jitterymonks.com/writing-service-to-buy-research-papers-online/
